No, these sorts of posts are starting to become spam already. Not every actor or person involved with Star Wars needs a generic "happy birthday" post, especially if they are lesser known or in fact already dead.

These kinds of posts just come across as lazy efforts to fish for upvotes, not to generate actual discussion. Especially when no actual information is provided, just a "happy birthday" to the person, and that's it. Not a lot of incentive for anyone to take part.

If this sort of thing starts to become a trend, even more than it is right now, we probably will have to crack down on them.

In the future, Exotic, I would advice that you either refrain from these "happy birthday" posts, or you put in some more effort in them. Tell the people more about the person that is to be "celebrated", give the forum users at least some incentive to take part in an actual discussion.

And for real, not every person connected to Star Wars needs a post like this. When the person is more obscure or less known than others, that is even more reason for you to provide some actual info about them, instead of just this...
