^^^ Remember Plexi, that we need to be open minded to whatever that novel might bring us. SW expanded universe is a sandbox in which many authors can play with creating whatever they want, but without breaking the rules and guidelines Lucasfilm imposes. He might even share the same thoughts you and I have, but he could have been admonished to cut it off, or at least to let them vague and ambiguous, so anyone can interpret in the way they want, Idk.
Of course, I’ll remain hopeful until the end, but I prefer to keep using my “realistic mode” for everything, and so I won’t get so much disappointed, lol. It has served me well since The Mandalorian season two.
