Welcome to another Rebels discussion! This is for S2E18 “Shroud of Darkness”.
Plot Summary:
Kanan and Ezra fight the Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister while looking for a base for the Rebellion. After Ezra nearly falls off a cliff, they escape unhurt, but with Kanan on edge. He wants help with the inquisitors. He wants Ahsoka.
When Ezra goes to see Snips, she is watching a hologram of her former master. She tells Ezra about him, and then she, Ezra, and Kanan leave for the Lothal temple. Kanan and Ezra open it, and the trio ventures inside. They are trying to find Yoda, so they start meditating. Kanan sees a door and goes through it, into a room with a temple guard, who gives Kanan grave news that Ezra will turn to the Dark Side. When the guard suggests that Ezra be eliminated, Kanan fights him. Meanwhile, the Inquisitors drop by.
As Ahsoka explains to Ezra what Yoda was like, she closes her eyes, and when she opens them, Ezra is gone. Ahsoka starts to meditate again, and Ezra finds himself in the same place that he found his kyber crystal in, alongside Yoda. He, to, tells Ezra to beware of the Dark.
Ahsoka has a vision of her master, a vision of Anakin that morphs into Vader. By this time, the Inquisitors are forcing the temple out of the ground.
When Kanan finally tells the temple guard that he cannot protect Ezra, the guard chooses to knight him. Yoda tells Ezra to find Malachor, and the three regroup as the temple falls. The Inquisitors are halted by the Guards, giving the trio time to leave.
On the Phantom, Ahsoka tells Ezra that Malachor is a place. Back on Lothal, Darth Vader arrives at the temple.

My thoughts:
The first time I watched this episode, I had no idea that the Guards were just visions, and that really confused me.
Hmm, I went looking for the owners of some of the sabers behind the guards. I think I saw Kit Fisto's, but couldn't make out the rest.
Note to self: Don't get lost in the Jedi Temple.
Hmm, I don't have anything to say other than that. I guess that means I like this episode.
What are your thoughts? Like or dislike? Did you notice anything neat? This is the thread to discuss on.
