I'm a Legends noob, could someone explain to me why he's wearing Boba's armor in the top right image?

^ He did it to assassinate Zekka Thyne and he was impersonating Jodo Kast Who is another bounty hunter who wears Mandalorian armor, but is not one himself. Boba killed him later lol.

I've read all 3 Thrawn trilogies, Outbound Flight, Specter of the Past, and am a hundred something pages into Vision of the Future.

So yeah I think I like Thrawn

Edit: Oh wait this is specifically for Legends Thrawn lol. Yeah I still think he's great, I like him just as much as his Canon version

Legends thrawn is awesome! He single handily brings the empire together under one leader and returns them to a standard of operation, effectiveness and coordination that the empire hadn’t had since before Endor with some imperials in specter of the past wishing it was him who was in charge of the empire from the start instead of sidious.

Legends Thrawn? Amazing character.

He's such a terrifying character and for not being a force sensitive character he's exceptional good at anticipating the New Republic's tactics and maneuvers. I love him in legends!

Although he's an old-fashioned gentleman and also a brilliant tactician,he still is a villain.

I love Thrawn from the Legends-Thrawn-trilogy. He's ruthless and cold yet also shows to care for his crew. He's dangerous and brilliant, and yet, also flawed, makes mistakes, loses more than one battle, shows a bit pride now and then. I love his dynamics with Pellaeon as well. These two were a great duo. Although I tend to side with the good guys, Thrawn (when reading this trilogy) managed to capture my fascination enough that I almost wanted him to win.

However, I was underwhelmed when reading Outbound Flight. I personally didn't like his version in that novel a lot; he was far less interesting in this novel than in his original trilogy and way too much of a do-gooder for my taste. All in all, I found him more shallow, less complex in this novel.

So, when it comes to his Legends version, I really like his portrayal in the original Thrawn-trilogy specifically
