Not sure if this is one of the best episodes but this is one of the most memorable in TCW for me.

First off, Bane's first appearance!!! He's great in this episode, it really manages to establish his personality. He takes his business seriously but he's never worried, he's always two steps ahead. When he's got the time, he's also a joker (maybe not too funny most of the time lol). He asks for quiet like a teacher before making a call to the chancellor, he shoots a senator just for acting like a politician, and he even fits the death of the senators into a joke with Ziro. He also had the whole heist planned perfectly from the start, and even when he couldn't account for the Jedi or the lightsaber, he knew exactly what to do by trapping them and keeping them caught.

His accomplices are also pretty good, even when Bane is miles higher. They work very well together for bounty hunters, shown when they take down Anakin. They are also pretty funny, like when the Patrolian sees Anakin and waddles back into the security room, only to jump on him later, or when the IG droid bends the rifle towards Anakin. Ziro is also great when he overreacts to everything, like the speeder moving or his prison time.

Anakin was also pretty great here. I liked that they showed him using force speed while he was trying to communicate with the Chancellor, and instead of a violent solution when the bounty hunters hear him talking, he goes for a passive one by tricking the Weequay.

Orn Free Taa was also good. Him cowering behind the trooper once Bane releases him shows a bit more of his personality after the last episode, but he was pretty nice in getting the clones to check if the Chancellor was alright. Taa isn't all corruption.

I also liked the idea of the episode in terms of visuals and I liked most of the scenes but I feel they could have been better. It would've been nice if they looked sorta like the fantastic underground base from the virus episodes once the security locks turned on.

I'll take a bit of a break before season two. Not sure if I'll keep doing this but I hope I'll find the time to.
