I think I’d only fall if my morals are broken or deteriorate from their standards. It would be a slow decent, starting as a small doubt or excuse, until I finally give into that which I would have previously dreaded doing.
If I turned to the Dark Side in universe it would probably be in disgust at what a cult the Jedi act like.
Truthfully, though, in universe what I would truly want to be is a Light Sith like what you’re allowed to play in SWTOR: someone who can use the Dark Side as well as the Light without being consumed by the Dark. The Light Sith were actually way more balanced and healthy than any Force users we see by the movie era and their death is probably one of the factors that doomed the galaxy to constant warring by its Force wielders.
So, grey jedi which were proved to be impractical because you can't master both sides of the force💀
^They make it work just fine. I think it is more of using just the middle as opposed to both sides.
Are there any Grey Jedi experts who can confirm this?
Nah, you won't be able to truly master the dark side of the force or the light side of the force so if you're gonna face some dude who picked either or you're gonna get bodied, even then you're still gonna be hated by Jedi and Sith
^But, as I just said, they don't use the light or the dark, they use the middle.
And that's called being weak you can't fully use one side to it's full potential like why choose being torn between both sides of the force and not gaining true power from either side and choose a path where you'll never be able to use one side of the force to it's full potential?
Revenge or desire for power.
@LeylaMango The way I understand the Grey Jedi is that they are able to use both light side and dark side powers without being effected by this usage, without experiencing any consequences of using either side. There isn't really a middle thing, they just use both light and dark.
Personally, this concept doesn't make any sense to me at all. If you are going to use the dark side, it will have an effect on you, since it basically nurtures, strengthens your inner darkness (which contains all the nasty emotions like hate, anger, despair, jealousy etc.). And the problem is - the dark side also proves to be addictive. You allow your darkness to take control of your actions once, it will happen quicker the next time. The more you use it, the keener you become to rely on the dark side.
That's basically what happened to Anakin. He wanted to serve the light side while also using the dark side several times without containing himself. Well, in the end, his personal darkness grew and grew and eventually took over him - it wasn't him anymore who controlled the dark, it was the dark that controlled him. You cannot serve two oppositional masters at the same time over a longer period. At one point, one of the masters is going to claim you.
Besides, there is no challenge, in my opinion, nothing really admirable in using both sides of the Force if there aren't any consequences, like succumbing to the dark.
That's why I'd personally agree with @NozzyNotFunny that the Grey Jedi are an impractical, illogical concept
^O.k, I see what you mean now.
What do you think?
