Jacen Solo is an incredibly well written character before Troy Denning retconned him.

He was essentially the Qui-Gon Jinn of the New Jedi Order. The suddenly he was basically retconned and gaslighted in very contrived ways, that were ever changing (even after his death retcons to fix prior retcons that made no sense) and the explanations made about as much sense as Luke Skywalker randomly deciding that aborting his 25 year old nephew was ok because of a bad force vision. All we got for Jacen was he took a 5 year vacation and suddenly had PTSD from events years before that vacation, and suddenly had force visions that always had the same outcome UNLESS HE WENT DARKSIDE. So then he randomly trusted the psycho lady who has been trying to kill his uncle, on how to save his uncle. So basically Jacen's intelligence got downgraded to Spongebob levels... but it was written as if he was some sort of genius, which honestly only made it worse.

Jacen Solo, especially in the later half of New Jedi Order, was arguably better written than nearly any other character in Star Wars lore. Then he became one of the dumbest and his transition to this character was literally nonsensical, super forced and was basically a totally different character/continuity.

I haven't read any Legends to know Jacen Solo

Caedus beats Kylo in every regard.

Ben was pretty much a bootleg version of Caedus

Not a fan of the ST but I voted Ben because 1. Driver did a good job with what he was given and 2. he's canon.
