This was a nice episode, I especially liked Anakin in it.
I feel like we got only the best parts of Anakin in this episode. He was supportive of Ahsoka even when she had failed to protect her squadron. He also jokes with her before the battle but when he sees she is nervous, he stops joking and actually tries hard to make her feel better.
I thought the Separatist leader in this episode wasn't great. He acted cool but he really failed in what he was doing. His point was that he expected Anakin to be unorthodox but Anakin was just that and the leader still failed. If he did expect Anakin to do something strange then the episode could have been a nice learning experience for Ahsoka that sometimes the best thing to do is to stay by the book.
I liked the effects on the venators. The venator going to hyperspace after Anakin is done talking to Ahsoka was a nice touch, as was the smoke staying with the original position of the venator when it flew from Ryloth. The reference to the A-wing crash was also a nice touch.
We will be watching 1x20 in two days, I hope you'll join me. You can find out when I post the next review here: https://starwars.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003596604
