This is probably not the same thing, as it is a tabletop game rather than a video game, but I’d really recommend getting into Star Wars: Legion.
It is a game in which you control an army of miniatures representing different units from the Republic, CIS, Empire, Rebellion and Shadow Collective and face off against different players in whichever scenarios and playstyles you can think of.
Each set contains instructions on how to pit the miniatures together, but they also explain how you can customize them yourself and you get them as grey molds so you get to choose how you paint and customize them yourself.
There are set rules of how to play the game, but it’s so flexible you really can just choose to play it in your own way with your own rules.
