Yessss Ariel! My favorite Kryze sister. Despite the fact that I don’t fully agree with her pacifist stance, I understand it and I truly feel for her desire to maintain peace for mandalore. I loved her and Obi Wan’s relationship and I really wish we had got to see more of them together. I fully believe that if the clone wars had ended on a much happier note and if Satine had lived, they would’ve given a fully committed relationship a try.

When Maul killed Satine I was in tears not just because of Obi Wan’s pain but because Satine was the living definition of an innocent person. She had nothing to do with the clone wars or the conflict between the Jedi and the Sith and she deserved so much better than to be made a tool for Maul’s vengeance. Then there’s her traitorous sister Bo Katan who tried to use her sister’s death to goad Obi Wan into stopping the Sith Lord Bo Katan helped unleash onto mandalore. Bo Katan didn’t have to agree with Satine’s choices but siding with the an organization that’s literally trying to kill her is just messed up. Anyways thank you so much Ariel for this awesome bio of Satine 👏👏!

^ Yes, totally agreed! I would've loved to see more of Obi-Wan and Satine (don't know the ship name lol). Have you read the Kenobi book? He's definitely still sad about what happened to her (he's not the only one, that was definitely on my top 5 saddest TCW moments). And the fanart is some of the best I've seen of relationships 😂

^I’ve read some of it and I definitely plan to finish it before Kenobi and I love it so far! I honestly don’t think Kenobi and Satine have a ship name at least not an official one but their needs to be one. I would also like to give a personal shout out to Satine and Padme’s friendship in the corruption clone wars episode. I love how Padme was there for Sayine during her struggles to get supplies for mandalore and I loved their conversation about the corruption within the republic and the concept of neutrality. It was brilliant hearing these two iconic women discussing not the casualties of war but how they truly feel about it and the toll it’s taken on them.

Satine is great! Though she isn't my favourite character ever, I really enjoyed her commitment to her cause and her people, even if it lead to her eventual downfall. Though let's be honest, I really can't see leading a culture of clan-based warriors to adopt a peaceful life as the greatest idea...

And, then of course we have Obitine (that's the ship name I've seen the most, so I'm just going to roll with it). I was sceptical upon my first CW watch because Obi-Wan, (who is the most by-the-books jedi that I knew of at the time) would have a love interest? But, kudos to the peeps behind TCW for making such a cool story, as it's easily one of my favourite SW ships.

(And to anyone from Lucasfilm reading this, can we please have a novel detailing their early life? And the Mandalorian Revolution? And more of Obi-wan and Qui-gon? That would be really neat thanks)

I haven't had the time to read much lately, so I'm a bit behind on my SW reading schedule but I'll definitely add Kenobi to the list now. If I can cope with the emotional trauma.

I'm intrigued by the "mystery character" for next week... Is it Padme? I'm just chucking out random guesses, lol.

^ I think we're getting a novel about them, Padawan, and there's one called Master and Apprentice (I haven't read it). But I would really like to see something about the mission with Satine! Kenobi is great, would definitely recommend. About the mystery character (for everyone), I have Padmé scheduled but would you guys prefer a well-known or obscure SW mom?

I always have mixed feelings about satine, she’s an excellent character, but like lord lothcat said, integrating pacifist ways into a society of warriors, and then exiling said remaining warriors, (including your sister) probably wasn’t the best idea lol. While I’m not a huge obitine fan (there’s so many Obi wan ships out there I just kinda roll with whatever I feel like at the moment, don’t really have a favorite one) I do love that arc, it’s so fun to watch, mainly for Anakin going “hmm??? An…an attachment???? Hmmm 👀”

I also believe in Korkie Kenobi it just makes sense you can sue me idc. But ANYWAY her end is so tragic and poetic and it makes my heart hurt every time I watch it.

@Ariel Rubyleader I hadn't considered the possibility Padawan would centre around that, I'll probably be disappointed if it doesn't now... I can confirm that Master and Apprentice is set before then, and didn't hint to it at all, much to my sadness.

Padme would be really neat to see! If you had another character in mind, that's ok too, but she'd be really neat.

@Eleanor1138 Yessss, Anakin's reaction to the whole thing, particularly in the Coronet episode, was hilarious! And I may have been spending WAAYYYY too much time on The Internet but I'm starting to warm up to the Korkie Kenobi theory too. (I kind of want him to show up in Kenobi ngl.) It seems 90% of fans kind of hate the idea for some reason though.

^ As I have Padmé already scheduled, I was going to ask if everyone would prefer that I do a well-known or mostly unknown character next week. I can always reschedule Padmé or Hera though.

I also would like to see more of Korkie, even if he isn't Obi-Wan's son they might have a nice relationship if they do meet during the show!
