"It's a girl."
"Leia."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala
Born as a twin to Luke Skywalker, who's destiny was to continue the Jedi ways, Leia had a very interesting early life. Born two days after the Clone Wars, she still had much more to uncover in life. She never met her mother, only heard the stories of her. She would become The Princess of Alderaan. Though she was at first thought to be just another child orphaned because of The Clone Wars, she wasn't just any child, she was a leader. She ran away while she was just nine years old, but was found in the woods, tracked down by guards. She thought of it at the time as the best week of her life. In her following years, she learned how to use a blaster. On her sixteenth birthday, it was her Day of Command, the day she would claim her throne.
When you think of Leia, what do you think of? A leader, a inspiring person, or something else. For me I find her both of the reasons I listed. One story that I hope they will expand on is her becoming a Jedi...
After the Battle of Endor, she goes to train with Luke. To become...a Jedi. The scene in Star Wars Rise Of Skywalker shows her last day of training. She said that she sensed the death of her son at the end of her jedi path. She was strong with the force, but didn't want to spend all her time also. She had a family, a child. Ben Solo uses her lightsaber at the end of Rise Of Skywalker, which made me very emotional. Ben sadly die trying to save Rey...
Leia was definitely there, telling him the right thing to do. He can now peacefully be with his mom and dad. Rey does take all their lightsabers back to the Lars Homestead and bury's them there, waiting for someone to continue the legacy...of the Skywalker family.
