Welcome to this week’s edition of Monday Morning Coffee! I’m surprised I don’t volunteer for more of these. I run the morning assemblies at school, so let’s hope the skills carry over.
Monday Morning Coffee is the weekly news roundup for Wookieepedia Discussions. This week was massive for gaming news in particular, though not without some important developments elsewhere. Let’s dive in!
This old mug is up for sale on eBay if anyone wants it.
🗞️ STAR WARS NEWS
New Releases
Here are the new releases from the week. Feel free to create discussion threads for any of them that don’t have one and they’ll be added to this post!
IDW’s Ghosts of Vader’s Castle TPB released this week, so the wait for patient comic readers who prefer larger volumes is over.
Star Wars Insider 208 is out now. I got last month’s issue for Christmas!
For impatient comic readers, the fourth issue of the High Republic’s Trail of Shadows series was released on Wednesday.
From The Feed
These are stories that came to us on our main feed in the Star Wars News category. All three covered on the forum this time were EA-owned game properties.
Respawn kicked off the hype this week by announcing the development of three Star Wars games, including a sequel to Fallen Order. @Kylo231 covered it in this post.
Capital Games announced the addition of the Second Sister to Galaxy of Heroes that same day, as reported to us by @Jace Moon.
BioWare came in last with a trailer for the Legacy of the Sith expansion on The Old Republic, brought to us by @Jonax Frostwalker.
From The Newsroom
No stories were posted in the MMC Newsroom last week—an unfortunately common trend that we should change.
The Newsroom is where we organize Monday Morning Coffee, and sometimes news stories are linked there as well. Don’t hesitate to create a discussion for any news you find!

🔶 WIKI NEWS
For status articles, I'm trying something new to make this series easier to write. They’re now in their own project that will be posted every Sunday, and here is the first edition.
Check out the archive to sign up for the project.
Only one thread is currently active on the forum’s Consensus track—an amendment to our policy on interacting with VIPs (authors, actors, etc.) on the Discord server.
Join Wookieepedia's Discord server if you haven't already!
⭐️ FEATURED POSTS
Here are the threads from the Featured category this week. If you know of a post that should be featured please leave a link to it in the comments of this thread. Come jump into any of the following!
@Supreme Emperor lent us his conversational expertise and started a discussion about our first experiences with Wookieepedia. Good times.
Perhaps most important was the release of Chapter 5 of The Book of Boba Fett. Check out @Jade Moonstroller's official thread for spoilers.

Our signups are currently empty, and I hope that with the status article section being repurposed into its own series, it’ll be easier to write everything here. Let’s discuss that change below.
Have a great week, and may the Force be with you!
