When I was younger, I thought it was cool to pretend being a Sith, looking cool, and having powers that were exclusive to the Sith, but does letting your emotions take over make you more powerful? An Argument for this is Obi-Wan Vs Darth Maul on Naboo. Kenobi was overwhelmed with anger after his master’s defeat, and with tapping into those emotions, he fought vigorously and almost bested Maul while in regular lightsaber combat while being a padawan. Is there any dispute whether a person, who turns to the darkside, is more powerful than if they had stayed in the light? I know even if you are a Sith you can still be beat by a Jedi, so what is your opinion on this?
I think it probably does, that’s why people go to the dark side: for more power, but that isn’t to say that a Jedi won’t be more powerful than a Sith.
Now that I say all this, I suppose there really isn’t going to be much debate, but I still look forward to reading everyone’s replies in the discussion below!
