What first got me thinking about this poll was the idea of Krennic going against Cassian. I know that they don't really encounter each other much in the aforementioned film, but this series could build up the conflict between them.

Thrawn would be cool but he’s the wrong type of villain for cassias. Cassian’s too small scale for a complex, masterminding villain like thrawn. He was perfect for rebels because he had so much in common with each of the characters that combined with his amazing powers of deductive reasoning he was the perfect adversary to counteract each of them Individually. But honestly I want somebody new, these are all great characters but I feel like we’re kicking the dead horse by now.

@TacFroggy753 We have seen a few of these characters quite a bit, but I will also argue the fact that we haven't seen a lot of Krennic. So out of all of these, he'd seem to most likely to return, even if in a guest, or recurring role.

Besides, I'm sure that we'll see Thrawn at some point in a story set after Star Wars Rebels, so if he isn't in this series, I'm sure that he will return eventually.

Why would Kallus be the villian??

The series is said to take place before Star Wars Rebels and with him being part of the Imperial Security Bureau, it just makes sense to me that he could be a part of the series.

Thrawn cannot be in this because his entire time with the empire is covered already, between the Thrawn Books and Rebels.

Also, Rebels made him an antagonist, and we saw how that turned out. That is not even really Thrawn. He is far better suited to be a hero. Also, I just don’t want him in a show again after Dave Filoni butchered him in Rebels.

He's fine in Rebels. He's not anything too special but he isn't butchered
