This news does make me wonder how many, if any, of these characters are going to appear in Season 2 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

Oh I hope they do this. “Rebels” is one of my favorite SW shows. For them to do a sequel, or a continuation of it, would be awesome. That is of course if Dave Filoni is in charge of it. If they put any of the new Disney personnel in charge of it, I’m sure it’ll be awful like “Star Wars Resistance” is.

What would really be awesome is if they did the series, animated or live action, where Ahsoka and Sabine fine Ezra and Thrawn, they all come back, and we see Ezra start training Kanan’s and Hera’s son Jacen in the Force.

Sure, as long as they retcon him to be an actual Twi'lek-human hybrid like the Lawquane kids, instead of a green-slippery-haired human :/

Also, this makes me wonder if any of these storylines are going to continue up to the timeline of the sequel trilogy eventually. There's much potential for different outcomes in these stories.
