Hey, it's not fan-fiction, so it's fair game for posting. Enjoy!
I’ve never visited a movie set, touched a camera, or built a single prop. I’ve never written a script, casted an actor, or spoken a line. I’m stuck to one side of the silver screen. But somehow I’ve made every film, TV show, video game, novel, and comic book called “Star Wars”—all mine.
It’s a strange feeling, isn’t it? The greatest story of all time is entirely at my disposal. Miraculous.
I wasn’t the first person to make Star Wars. To me, the last one was a girl at school who couldn’t believe I hadn’t heard the story. She made it clear and passed it along to me; I now have to continue it.
I needed help, though, so I turned to those who made Star Wars here at the wiki. Every day of research made a little more Star Wars available for me to digest.
It’s a work in process: the story falls in line with my walks of life. I make its choices and abide by its lessons tightly.
The cycle repeats. Just as often as I needed to hear the story, someone now comes to me, as if I truly was on set behind the camera. I made myself part of the story, integral for the next generation of viewers.
And maybe I’m the last one. Maybe I’m the last person who truly believes in that potential to make this story for others, to pass that invaluable knowledge on. Nonsense! We can make every part of the story matter, and from that we can grow from its lessons.
We make Star Wars what it is. Remember to make it something good—all of it—and may the Force be with you.
