I was going to do this for my 1000th post, but that ended up in this discussion.
Other users in the past have made commemorative posts for this milestone, and I figured that I should follow suit. I don't want to keep it on hold, because there are other discussions I want to participate in.
I joined FANDOM on May 17, 2019 (but I was a lurker since 2016). The forums were in a bit of an anarchic mess before then, because our current mods weren't in charge yet. Kudos and thanks go to @Givinname, @ArchieKE, and @Joupena for stepping up and molding this place into a great community.
Of course, that was also done in part by other users, but that list would be too extensive to bother with. My first post is located in this discussion, and I was welcomed in by @Spooder-Man777.
My first discussion, however, wasn't until much later, and I only started wiki editing very recently (the page tagged to this post is my largest edit contribution). I created the “What Defines a Trilogy?” weekly series, the next edition of which will be posted tomorrow.
Looking back, I'll brag that I now have a lot of great posts! Dig through my history and find one you like.
I don't want this to be all about me, though. I want this to also turn into a discussion like @Calrissian66's "Where would you be without TFA?" post.
"Where would you be without Wookieepedia?" is my question.
I wouldn't know quite as much about Star Wars, and I would probably lack the good discussion skills I have. I wouldn't have such a special niche here, and I wouldn't even know what I'd be missing out on. Thanks, Wookieepedia!
