I have never seen John Williams preform, but I would very much like too. My favourite track is definitely Imperial March. I’ve loved that song, since I was probably three, and the mystique to it.

I’ve never seen John Williams himself perform, but I’ve been to a concert featuring his work. I’m a big classical music nerd in the first place, and listen more to classical compositions/ movie soundtracks than I do other genres. If you’re interested, there’s a Spotify playlist “John Williams’ Non-Film Music - Composer Weekly #066” that I really like. It has some really nice cello pieces, a cool composition of variations of “Happy Birthday” (😂), and some Olympics themes. As far as my favorites, I actually really like the sequel tracks. They’re dramatic and compelling but full of emotion and majesty.

I was able to play the (non-abridged or arranged) Star Wars suite once with a chamber orchestra and it was easily one of the hardest pieces I ever faced 😅 but was definitely one of my very favorites. My conductor had a theater actor dresses as darth Vader, enter the stage in the middle of us performing the imperial march, force choke him (my conductor) and then continue conducting us with a red lightsaber, with my actual conductor laying down on the stage. It was a big hit with the audience but we had to practice really hard to learn to play it unified without a conductor for a little bit 😂 Learning to play the suite still impacts the way I hear the songs in the movies, though.
