I know a lot of the users here frequently edit Wookieepedia. I also know that there is nothing worse than encountering a stub article.

So I'm suggesting that we use this thread as a sort of "to-do" list for the editors. Everyone can include a link to a stub page that needs to be updated. That way, we editors will have a go-to list of articles that need the most help.

This could be considered a Community Project: the Stub Round-Up! Catchy title, eh? 😉

I think it would be an enormously helpful resource. Editors could scroll through and fine the stubjects they know the most about. Once the stub is un-stubified, Chris (if he is willing) could delete the comment with the link to the former stub.

Do you think we should do this?

remember that the app itself is a product of wikia and not wookiepedia. It's goal is to generate traffic to all the wikias, and to cross promote the wikias.

pay attention to sources and notes in what AV linked.

when you kids get to university and are expected to write papers... consider this your training ground

That page may seem daunting and overwhelming.

Don't be intimidated. Everything starts with simple steps. You can always add to it as you go.

As a community project, you all will get the chance to make this even more painless. You will all learn as a group.

My next recommendation is to narrow down your list... find things that interest all of you. find stuff that some of you have actual sources to double check at home like books and comics....

Try checking the edit history of a status article to see how it grew to that length. You don't have to write an article in one go. It took me months of revisions to shape Evazan's canon article into what it currently is.
