The reason she’s never mentioned in Big Bang Theory is because things ended so badly that he never wanted to acknowledge the shame and humiliation he felt, and it put him off girls until meeting Amy.

More like a reimagined
@SeichanGrey What if the last four seasons were rewritten. Remember how Lorre and writers decide to kill off Charlie Harper. Ashton Kutcher was later hired to portray the new character, Walden Schmidt. Imagine similar things that happened to Sheldon. Not hate the character or nothing. Imagine that like experiment and change the status quo in the group dynamics, how they’d function and acting’s with Sheldon around. But Young Sheldon and minor plot line’s still happen.
Few years back, like around 2015 two that Chuck Lorre had been involved with were Two and Half Men and Big Bang Theory. Both respectable at their finale. With Two and Half Men their worst series finale ever “Of Course He's Dead” and Big Bang Theory Season 8 Episode 24 "The Commitment Determination" with that scene with Sheldon and pulls out a ring box with an engagement ring. "Well Gollum, you're an expert on rings. What do I do with this one?" he asks the statue, ending the season on a huge cliffhanger. After that season the next day I discussed that episode with my friends at school. Don’t remember who suggested this idea. Like what if they killed off Sheldon they did with Charlie Sheen character on Two and Half Men. Thought it was a bad idea and asked who would replace Jim Parsons? Quickly one of them suggested Shia LaBeouf. 2015 was a weird time for Shia LaBeouf in public from that “Just Do It” video to getting that rat tail. Thought a idea for LaBeouf cast on Big Bang Theory was ridiculous for awhile that dumb thought became a interesting concept like what if happens if executives and writers decide to replace Sheldon with another character.
Imagine Shia LaBeouf character be similar to
Walden on Two and a Half Men and being opposite from Sheldon. Understand sarcasm, general lack of humility, empathy, and toleration. This character is smart as Leonard, Howard and Raj. Not smart as Sheldon. He is also a geek like them but more grounded and with major differences like he is a bit mature, not as prodigy, selfless, relaxed and instead being a fan of Star Trek. He is a fan of Stargate, Sliders and Battlestar Galactica, also he likes Quicksilver more than The Flash. Though his character is a mixed young version of Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg minus massive egotistical. He served as a big brother towards Leonard. Felt like Sheldon acting as a little brother in his own childlike way.
How does this affect major effects from the last four without Sheldon? Like believing some episodes would happen and how you’re explaining Young Sheldon? How is he alive as narrator but gone in the main series? This not reconnected introduction of characters like George Cooper Jr. and Tam Nguyen still happen except for Sheldon and Amy never happen. Imagine how group dynamics change without Sheldon around?
Let’s me know you’re thought about if show decided to writing out one they breakout character (possible kill him off screen) replaced him by new character that played by Shia LaBeouf. And few more interesting ideas for last 4 season ideas that the series, if they shall do or not, didn't want about that yet.
