As Howard and Bernadette for at a funeral home to have his mother cremated, Howard was outraged at the prices the funeral home had for cremation

Howard-6000$ are you kidding me that’s highway robbery

Then Bernadette approached him and said

Bernadette-let me deal with this one Howie

Then she faced the funeral home owner

Bernadette-give us a better special or I’m going to rip your neck off

She hissed and threatened

The funeral home owner looked very nervous then said

Funeral home owner-wait here I’ll get you your special

She smiled and said

Bernadette-see Howie to handle these people

Little did Bernadette know the funeral home owner was picking up his phone

Skipped to a jail Cell where Howard and Bernadette are a Cell across one another as Howard said

Howard-you know what we should’ve just accepted the offer

As everyone gave Sheldon and Amy goodbye gifts Leonard looked with fear and nervous he tried to find the perfect farewell gift for Sheldon and Amy, but never could find one because after all Sheldon had already gotten pretty much everything he needed making it even harder so that’s when Leonard looked at the old couch and then a lightbulb popped

As Sheldon was about to say bye he said

Leonard- SHELDON WAIT

As he came with a bag rapped in paper

Leonard - this for you I couldn’t figure out what to get you but now I think I found the perfect gift

Sheldon open the bag in box up and found it was his couch cushion for his favorite spot

Sheldon-this is the couch cushion of my favorite spot. You’re letting me keep it.

Leonard-it’s more than just the cushion Sheldon

Then a pair of movers came in bringing the whole couch to the moving van

Leonard-you get to have the whole couch, buddy it’s yours

Sheldon-but Leonard, I can’t take it I mean after all it’s your couch and I’m trying to do my best to be a little bit better as a friend in

Leonard- Sheldon you and I have known each other for a long time and well let’s face it. I don’t think you’ll ever change, but I don’t want you to because deep down. I kind of enjoyed all your antics and ego. I think deep down. I want you to know in my way. I love you too.

Sheldon started to look like he was about to cry and then

Sheldon said

Sheldon- thanks Leonard

Leonard- you’re welcome oh Sheldon

As the two couldn’t hold it anymore, and the two best friends hugged

Seeing Jim and what’s her name who played Amy was so great it gave me that big bang feeling again but more importantly seeing Sheldon walk through his family old house seeing his dad couch seeing the sofa made me sad Sheldon tracked down all his family belongings or at the very least the same furniture is that resembled them and seeing him sit their in his old spot on the couch really made me tear up to some extent it shows in his Sheldon way that he never let go of the past he still misses his dad but knows his watching over him

Because in the episodes evolving loss Sheldon was their to comfort Howard by reminding Howard how lucky he is to have friends like him Leonard Raj penny Amy and a loving wife Bernadette

And when Sheldon rewatched the video of his dads game and it inspired him and Amy to continue on with their project that won them the Nobel Peace prize he thanked his dad this shows that despite his negative and egotistical behavior Sheldon always has his heart in the right place when it matters

I think Sheldon did Leonard a favor had he married Leslie Winkle his life would’ve been miserable in the long run Leslie would’ve dominated Leonard and slowly but surely she would’ve kept him from hanging out with his friends because she sees them as a distraction to her and Leonard life trust me if it hadn’t been for Sheldon he would’ve been leaving with A dominating in demanding housewife who only wants him to do what she wants him to do he’s better off with Penny
