Medford High School is a public high school in Medford, Texas. Sheldon Cooper attended the school in the 1990s.

When Sheldon is getting ready to attend college, he has multiple teachers record a segment in his long video. They all are begrudgingly supportive of his going to college at the tender age of 11, all the while holding back their true feelings.
Principal Petersen had told George Cooper that the school's profile had been raised significantly because Sheldon was a student. Sheldon got valedictorian for his school when he was only 11.
